A large digital center will appear in the center of Kirov on the territory of the former KVATU and it will be located next to the university campus. To date, a land plot has been formed and transferred to the concessionaire for the construction of a center on the territory of the former KVATU, and a lease agreement has been concluded. A building permit has been obtained, preparatory and land works have been carried out.

The project is being implemented under the terms of a concession agreement concluded between the government of the Kirov Region and Infratech-Kirov No. 1 LLC, part of the infrastructure holding company Infratech Management Company JSC (Rostec State Corporation).
The new sports facility is expected to be completed by the end of 2026. The center will focus on the development of digital sports, a new format of physical activity combining traditional sports and digital technologies. The digital center includes a universal sports hall, playgrounds for playing sports, VR areas, game consoles and computers for esports, as well as a laser tag room, as an active version of esports disciplines.
