Glavgosexpertiza of Russia has approved the construction of a digital center in Kirov, evaluating technical solutions at the pre-project stage. Rooms with modern sports and engineering equipment are designed for simultaneous reception of up to 80 visitors.
The investor in the construction of the digital center is the infrastructure holding Company JSC Management Company "Infratech Concessions", which is part of the Rostec Group of Companies.The corresponding concession agreement was signed in January 2025 between the holding and the Ministry of Sports and Tourism of the Kirov Region.
A new sports complex will be built in Kirov on Moskovskaya Street. The Digital Center is a new-generation sports space that combines digital and physical sports, where teams compete simultaneously in both sports and esports disciplines.
"The architectural and artistic concept of the digital center is designed in strict, concise forms that combine technology and aesthetics. The use of large glass surfaces in combination with blank planes made of aluminum composite panels adds a modern and industrial look to the building," said Elena Khlystova, the project's chief expert. The center will have all the necessary infrastructure for conducting training sessions and tournaments in digital sports, including: a universal sports hall, a room with simulators (car simulator), a room for game consoles with a virtual reality zone and a dance simulator, a computer center, rooms with high-tech equipment for laser tag – one of the varieties of team tactical sports games a new generation.
